Gender Studies, School of Human Studies  in Association with  Women's Regional Network - India Chapter organized a Roundtable Discussion on  Women and Peace (on the occasion of the International Day of Peace) on 23rd September 2019 (Monday)

This event provided many students with the opportunity to present in this roundtable discussion students from MA gender Studies and School of Law Governance and Citizenship participated in this discussion along with many under graduate students who contributed immensely in the discussion. 


Being in a round table format, the event would consisted of a conversation among the speakers and the participants rather than formal presentations.  The speakers for the round table discussion were as following:

The discussion brought many contexts forward to locate the conflict which can be analysed from gendered perspective- International, local, Religious, Caste, sexualities, identities and all those intersectionalities which make the everyday life existence filled with conflicts.
