The academic-research interests include- Multilingual Education; Drawing from cultural psychology and critical pedagogy perspectives to engage with inclusion, participation and experience of the marginalised in school and higher education; communities of practice in education; critical and feminist pedagogies; qualitative research methods.

Invited speaker during the Twelfth session of the UN Forum on Minority Issues on the theme- ‘Public Policy Objectives for Education in Minority Languages’, held in Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland, 28-29 November 2019.
