Lecture 4 : Beyond the Classroom: "Cracking the Culture Code: Exploring The Significance of Social Science in Deciphering Consumer Behaviour" by Ms. Rupali Kapoor, Cultural Anthropologist and Qualitative Researcher is scheduled for 18th August, 2023 , 02.00 -04.00 pm , Room 304. We are delighted to share that she is also a bright alumnus of MA Sociology Batch (2014-2016).

Bio-note of the Speaker Rupali works as an independent Qualitative Researcher in India. She uses both sociological and an anthropological lens to study consumer cultures. She is always excited to experiment with qualitative methods (in-person and digital) to be able to create genuine authentic interactions with consumers.

Previously, she has worked with IIM Udaipur to set up and run a consumer culture lab and in market research with Ipsos and Vox Populi Research. As a researcher, she is most fascinated by our interactions with the digital, especially social media and smart gadgets. She is curious about the ways in which these interactions are re-shaping us. Recently, she has become intrigued by virtual influencers and is excited to observe their journeys and explore how their presence is going to shape both the online and offline social landscape
