The Dara Shikoh Festival of Delhi

Dar-e-Shikoh welcomes you to the library of the Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh at Kashmere Gate in the university campus. We invite you celebrate the stories of history through theatre and music. The seven-day festival features theatre performances by the heritage theatre group Darwesh, Dastan Goi on the life of Dara Shikoh, a sound and light installation around the building evoking the era and a musical journey through 17th century Mughal India.

The Festival is organised by the Centre for Community Knowledge, Ambedkar University. The Centre is a knowledge resource centre for engaging with alternative histories.
