Affiliation

Dr Taposik Banerjee completed his MA and PhD in economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His doctoral thesis was in the area of Social Choice which looked at the issues of rationalizability of choice functions and provided complete characterization of choice functions that are k-th best element rationalilzable. 

He is interested in teaching and research in the areas of “Microeconomics”, “Social Choice” and “Law and Economics”.

Education & Research

Dr Banerjee joined Ambedkar University, Delhi, in April 2012. Before that he was associated with the National Institute of Science Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS) as a “Fellow Scientist” for nearly 3 years.
